JMPADD follows a double-blind peer-review process, whereby:
- The identities of authors are concealed from reviewers.
- The identities of reviewers are concealed from authors.
This process promotes impartial and objective evaluation based solely on the scientific merit, methodological rigor, and originality of the submitted work.
REVIEW PROCESS
Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, manuscripts are evaluated by the Editorial Office and Editor-in-Chief to assess:
- Relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
- Scientific quality and originality.
- Compliance with submission guidelines.
- Adherence to ethical and research reporting standards.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned to the authors without external review.
Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area. Each manuscript is typically evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers with experience in pharmaceutical sciences, drug discovery, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, biotechnology, or related disciplines.

Revision and Re-evaluation
Authors submitting revised manuscripts should provide a detailed response to reviewer comments. Revised submissions may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or editorial team before a final decision is reached.
Final Acceptance and Publication
Manuscripts that successfully satisfy the scientific, ethical, and editorial requirements of the journal are accepted for publication and proceed through copyediting, proofreading, production, and online publication.
