Article Processing Charges
The Journal of Modern Pharmaceutical Advances and Drug Discovery (JMPADD) is committed to the sustainable dissemination of high-quality, open-access research. To ensure free, immediate, and permanent access to all published content, the journal operates under an Article Processing Charge (APC) model. These charges support editorial management, peer review, professional production, web hosting, indexing activities, and long-term digital preservation.

KEY INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS
- When to Pay: Invoices are issued only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication. No fees are charged upon submission, and no fees are payable for manuscripts that are rejected.
- Equity & Waivers: The journal believes that financial constraints should not be a barrier to scholarly communication. Automatic full APC waivers are available for corresponding authors from countries classified by the World Bank as Low-Income Economies. Additional requests for waivers or discounts may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Price Guarantee: The APC rates listed above are offered during the journal's launch phase to support the growing research community. The journal reserves the right to revise APCs in the future to reflect operational costs, service enhancements, and indexing developments. However, the APC rate applicable at the time of manuscript submission will always be honored. Any changes to the APC schedule will be announced at least 90 days in advance.
EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
To ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity, APC administration is handled independently of the editorial and peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance.
The ability to pay APCs has no influence on editorial decisions. Editors and peer reviewers do not have access to payment information during manuscript evaluation.
WHAT THE APC COVERS
Each APC contributes to the following publishing services:
- Editorial Oversight: Management of the rigorous independent peer-review process.
- Production: Professional copyediting, typesetting, formatting, proofreading, and preparation of publication-ready article files.
- Global Visibility: Optimization for online discoverability and inclusion in relevant indexing and abstracting services, where applicable.
- Archiving: Long-term digital preservation and accessibility of published content through the journal's archiving and preservation policies.
- Licensing: Publication under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License, allowing authors to retain copyright while enabling broad dissemination and reuse of their work in accordance with the license terms.
REFUND POLICY
- APCs are non-refundable once the article has been published or if the author withdraws the paper after the final proofing stage.
- No refunds will be issued if a published article is subsequently retracted due to confirmed scientific misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or other ethical violations.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payments may be made via bank transfer or major credit/debit cards. Detailed payment instructions will be provided with the invoice issued upon acceptance.
Authors are responsible for any applicable bank transaction fees, currency conversion charges, taxes, or other charges imposed by financial institutions or local regulations.
